Corporate Profile

MRA Architecture is a progressive, design-oriented architectural, interiors and planning firm located in Rochester, New York. Since its inception in 1970, MRA has executed projects with construction costs totaling over $600 Million, with individual projects of up to $41 Million. We pride ourselves on our client focus and the ability to successfully coordinate a diverse number of architectural, engineering and contracting firms for each project we undertake. We are able to provide direct and immediate communication through state-of-the-art technology. With this focus and MRA's ability to respond immediately to a client's needs, we are Rochester's most talked about and reliable firm.

Staffing

In order to meet the challenge of the constantly changing business environment, MRA's staff has drawn upon their experience and knowledge of the construction industry to evolve a project management process, which involves the owners, contractors, design professionals, and when it is appropriate, the various staff persons from the municipality. Control of all the building requirements and associated costs now becomes possible through the project team. All of the elements are balanced to create a finished product that will truly satisfy the requirements of the client.

Martin H. Rose, R.A., AIA - President

As president of MRA Architecture, Martin Rose has the overall responsibility of a multi-disciplined architectural firm that is known for its creative approach to architectural design, responsiveness, and direct Owner-to-Architect relationship. Mr. Rose¹s personal involvement with the master planning, programming, space planning and design phases of projects allows him to respond directly to the clients¹ needs and concerns while successfully meeting the program requirements. Mr. Rose credentials include:

David A. Waldarek, R.A., AIA - Vice President

Mr. Waldarek has been with MRA Architecture for over twenty years as Vice President of the firm. He is also the Manager-In-Charge of Operations, project scheduling, and contract document production within the firm. He has also been responsible for budgeting, scheduling, coordination of staff members, and construction administration as well as being directly responsible for the implementation of design standards. His credentials include:

John M. Bilinski, R.A., AIA - Senior Associate

Mr. Bilinski has been with MRA for over nineteen years as a Designer and Project Manager. He has been responsible for budgeting, scheduling, coordination of staff members, and construction administration. Much of this work involves the rehabilitation/adaptive reuse of existing facilities, including building surveys for ADA compliance, ADA compatible building design, and design of alternatives for removal of accessibility barriers in existing buildings.
